Itinerary
Day One
Fly to Amsterdam and transfer directly to the Olympia. Enjoy your first dinner on board before we set sail tomorrow.
Day Two
This morning, Olympia sails towards the former fishing village of Volendam, from where you'll continue by coach to Venlo and Floriade 2012. Marvel at the beautiful floral displays, stimulate your senses as you wander through the five themed zones and experience nature first-hand, and enjoy the day's varied programme of music, dance, theatre and art.
After a full day, you'll return to Olympia in Lelystad to enjoy dinner and entertainment on board, as you continue back over the Markermeer to the windmills and colourful houses of Zaandam.
Day Three
This morning's optional excursion offers the opportunity to visit the world-renowned Keukenhof Gardens. Wander through the seven million flowers that carpet the ground of this floral paradise, perhaps stopping in one of the gardens' several eateries, or taking a canal boat ride (payable locally) through the gardens.
Rejoin Olympia in Amsterdam to spend a final afternoon, and evening, in the city of canals, 'brown' bars and cafes. Join our optional canal cruise – perhaps the best way to see the capital – before enjoying a last evening meal on board Olympia.
Day Four
Disembark in Amsterdam and bid 'Farewell' to Olympia as you return to the airport for your flight home.
