DAY 1 LONDON • OBERAMMERGAU
We begin with Titan HiTours VIP Home Departure Service™ to London Gatwick or Heathrow Airport and your schedule British Airways or Lufthansa flight to Munich or Zurich. On arrival our coach will transfer you to our hotel close to Oberammergau where we will stay for the next two nights with dinner included.
DAY 2 OBERAMMERGAU
This morning is free for you to explore the village of Oberammergau. We enjoy our included lunch before we view the famous Passion Play. An interval is allowed for dinner, which is included. The play ends late evening when we return to our hotel.
DAY 3 OBERAMMERGAU • INNSBRUCK
After breakfast we drive south through Garmisch situated on the edge of the Bavarian Alps. The old parish church stands on the left bank of the river Loisach within the picturesque district where chalets have been carefully preserved. We arrive in Innsbruck late afternoon at our hotel, where dinner is included tonight.
DAY 4 INNSBRUCK • LAKE COMO
After breakfast we take a delightful drive through the Austrian Alps and across the border to Italy. Here some of northern Italy’s best scenery can be seen, including the snow peaked mountains in the distance. Time is allowed to visit St Moritz, the ski resort frequent by the rich and famous, with its elegant boutiques and elegant cafés. We journey into the heart of lakeland region and to the Grand Hotel Victoria in Menaggio, which overlooks Lake Como, where we will stay for the next two nights.
DAY 5 LAKE COMO
After a leisurely breakfast, we depart to enjoy a visit to one of Lake Como’s famous villas, the Villa Carlotta. Here you can see the collection of numerous Canova pieces and also view the lovely gardens, which have over 500 different species of plant and flower. We return in the afternoon by ferry to Menaggio for dinner at our hotel.
DAY 6 LAKE COMO • LAKE MAGGIORE
A leisurely start before we take in the picturesque scenery while we travel to our final lake sojourn on Lake Maggiore. Stresa offers a lakeside promenade and also benefits from spectacular views. It has enticed visitors to enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere and the charming Borromean Islands since Queen Victoria first visited Lake Maggiore in the late18th century. We arrive at our hotel, the Hotel La Palma, where dinner will be served.
DAY 7 LAKE MAGGIORE • BORROMEAN ISLANDS
Today we enjoy a magnificent tour of some of Italy’s most picturesque scenery. We begin with a boat ride across the blue glistering water of Lake Maggiore to Isola Bella, one of the Borromean Islands. Here you will find an abundance of tropical plants. Later in the day we visit Isola dei Pescatori, the most famous of the four islands, which still shows hints of its fishing village heritage and is home to the stunning 17th century Palazzo Borromeo. We return to our hotel in Stresa for evening dinner.
DAY 8 LAKE MAGGIORE • LONDON
After a leisurely breakfast we join our coach for the journey to Milan Airport for our direct, scheduled British Airways flight to London Heathrow where our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your own front door.
