7-Day Break

• Day 1 – Local departure by coach then to northern France for an overnight stay.
• Day 2 – Continue to Diano Marina, Italy for a four night stay. B,D
• Day 3 – Nice and Èze (included). Our included excursion begins in the spectacular medieval hillside village of Èze, perched high above the Med, with stunning views. Here we tour the famous Fragonard Perfumerie Factory. Next we visit the coastal city of Nice with its famous Promenade des Anglais which sweeps along the Mediterranean. Behind it lies the picturesque old town with its narrow streets and alleys where you’ll find shopping bargains and small cafés. B,L,D
• Day 4 – St. Paul de Vence and Cannes (included). Today’s included excursion takes us a few miles inland to the charming hillside village of St. Paul de Vence, a beautiful, fortified medieval village. Wander the cobblestoned streets, admire the paintings, craft shops and boutiques and soak up the atmosphere of a village dating back to the 1500s. We end the day in Cannes, home of the famous film festival. Take a stroll along the treelined Boulevard de la Croisette with hotels, designer boutiques and gardens on one side and glorious beaches on the other. B,L,D
• Day 5 – Monaco and Monte Carlo (optional). Optional visit to the world’s smallest sovereign state of Monaco and glitzy Monte Carlo. If you feel lucky, take a chance in the Grand Casino with its lavish interiors decorated in the striking Belle Epoque style. B,L,D
• Day 6 – To northern France for an overnight stay. B
• Day 7 – To Calais then return home. B

• Day 8 – To Calais then return home. B

Accommodation

You will stay All-Inclusive at the 3-star Hotel Delle Mimose in Diano Marina.

The hotel is located close to the centre of resort, within walking distance of the sea and is run by its British owner. The hotel has a lift, bar, air-conditioned restaurant, swimming pool and Jacuzzi and offers bicycle hire and free internet access. All bedrooms have satellite T.V., telephone, safe, hairdryer, balcony, tea/coffee-making facilities and airconditioning (at a small supplement, payable locally). During your stay at the Delle Mimose, there will be three nights of entertainment, such as bingo, quizzes and music. Overnight stays in northern France are in city-style hotels.

Please note: The 9-day Sep 1 and the 7-day 12 and 26 Mar departures will stay at the 3-star Villa Igea Hotel in Diano Marina, which has a swimming pool, bar and restaurant, and is situated within walking distance of the beach and resort centre. All bedrooms have a T.V., telephone and hairdryer.
