4-Day Cruise Holiday

• Day 1 – By coach to join our cruise ship, the ‘Prinses Juliana’, in Koblenz.
• Day 2 – Cologne. Cruise past Andernach and Bonn to later reach Cologne. We will have plenty of time to explore the city’s fascinating Christmas markets and discover a seasonal treasure trove of bargains and culinary delights. B
• Day 3 – Düsseldorf. Continue our cruise to Düsseldorf. Boasting two main Christmas markets, located in the Old Town and around the Schadowplatz, Düsseldorf is also home to the Königsallee, one of Germany’s most fashionable shopping streets. The wooden huts of the Christmas markets offer a vast selection of festive goods, including woodcarvings and luxury jams. B
• Day 4 – By coach from Cologne to Calais, then return home. B

5-Day Cruise Holiday

• Day 1 – Travel by coach and join our cruise ship, the ‘Prinses Juliana’, in Düsseldorf.
• Day 2 – Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf enjoys a very special charm at this time of year. The scent of mulled wine, gingerbread and cinnamon cakes lingers around the Christmas market stalls, whilst the chestnut trees on the Königsallee glitter with a thousand lights. You will have plenty of time for shopping before rejoining our ship for a second night moored in Düsseldorf. B
• Day 3 – Cologne. We cruise this morning to Cologne, where we moor for one night. There’s a whole host of markets to explore, each with its own unique character. Start at the cathedral, where brightly decorated booths await. B
• Day 4 – Koblenz. We cruise to Andernach, where you will be able to join our optional excursion to Ahrweiler and the Ahr Valley. The cruise will continue to Koblenz (where those passengers who have joined the optional excursion will rejoin the ship). Explore the Christmas markets located at Zentralplatz. B
• Day 5 – We journey to Calais, then return home. B

Accommodation

The M.S. Prinses Juliana is a 3-star standard cruise ship. Onboard facilities include three decks, a sun deck and a lounge, bar and restaurant. All cabins are on the Main Deck and have twin beds, telephone and hairdryer.

Each night the ship will moor in a central location of each town and city, allowing you the opportunity to easily visit the main sights and, of course, the Christmas Markets.
