• Day 1 Travel to your overnight hotel in Belgium.
• Day 2 Today we visit the Christmas markets in the old roman city of Trier in the Moselle Valley, enroute to our hotel on the northern edge of the Black Forest. B,D
• Day 3 An included full-day excursion to Heidelberg, where you can browse the Christmas markets for gifts, and indulge in the Christmas cheer. The Kornmarkt is one of the Old Town's historic squares, and is the location of the Nativity Crib. You can also visit the Christmas village on the Marktplatz, the location of Heidelberg's new Christmas Pyramid. B,D
• Day 4 An included full-day excursion to the French town of Strasbourg, with the opportunity to visit the extensive Christmas markets. See the town's giant Christmas tree, known as the ‘king of the forests’, and the ‘sharing village’ in Place Kleber, or stroll through the Christkindlmarkt (market of the Child Jesus) and themed markets, absorbing the sights and smells of seasonal treats. B,D
• Day 5 We take a scenic drive through the romantic Rhine valley enroute to the city of Koblenz, where we pause to explore the Christmas markets. Later, we continue to Belgium for an overnight stay. B
• Day 6 Return to the U.K. B

Accommodation

You will stay for three nights at the 3-star Hotel Residenz in Pforzheim. The hotel has a restaurant, Mediterranean-style bar and lift. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, hairdryer and mini bar. Overnight stays in Belgium are in city-style hotels.
