8-Day Break

Day 1 – Local departure by coach, then onwards to Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Continue to Feldkirch, Austria for a three-night stay. B,D
Day 3 – Innsbruck (included). During our full-day excursion to the capital of the Tyrol you can explore the old town and admire the Hofburg Palace, St. James’ Cathedral and the famous Golden Roof building, which is a testimony to Innsbruck’s former prominence under the Habsburgs of the 15th century. B,D
Day 4 – Bregenz and Lindau (optional, included on Silver Service). At the crossroads of Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria, Bregenz’s Roman roots date back to before the 7th century. The peninsula of Lindau, on Lake Constance, is a former free Imperial city and a water-lover’s paradise. Its most striking landmark is the marina entrance, with its beautiful white lighthouse. B,D
Day 5 – The Swiss Glacier Express (optional). You can choose to travel by coach (included) or take an exhilarating ride on the Glacier Express from Chur to Andermatt. Now 80 years old, the worldfamous Swiss Glacier Express rail ride in panorama coaches will take you through unforgettable scenery climbing the summit of the Oberalp Massif. Enjoy breathtaking views through quaint mountain towns, seeing the River Rhine as a mountain stream. B,D 
Day 6 – Lucerne (included); Brienz and Interlaken (optional). Morning visit to Lucerne. The town features medieval squares, frescoed houses, churches and chapels. In the afternoon, why not join our optional excursion to Brienz and Interlaken? The scenic drive over the Brunig Pass takes us to 1000-year-old Brienz, a Bernese Oberland resort on the banks of Lake Brienz. We then travel around the lake shores to the ski resort of Interlaken. Day 7 – To the outskirts of Paris for an overnight stay. B
Day 8 – To Calais and return home. B

Accommodation

You’ll stay for three nights at the 4-star Weisses Kreuz Hotel or Central Lowen in Feldkirch and two nights at the 3-star Hotel Krone in Giswil. Overnight stays in Belgium and the Paris area are in city-style hotels.
