14-Day Break

• Dec 22 – Local departure by coach then onward to the Paris area for an overnight stay.
• Dec 23 – Travel south to arrive in Santa Susanna on the Costa del Maresme for a ten-night stay. B,D
• Christmas Eve to New Year’s Day – Relax and enjoy the festive programme and join us on our included and optional excursions. 8xB, 1xBr, 1xL, 9xD 
  • Montserrat (included). We travel inland, up into the hills to the town of Montserrat, where we see the famous monastery. The marvellous view from the top of this ‘serrated mountain’ is amazing!
  • Barcelona (optional, included on Silver Service). A fascinating day to the capital of Catalonia. We include a guided sightseeing tour which reveals many of this beautiful city’s treasures, and then enjoy time at leisure. See the unusual Sagrada Familia church and Las Ramblas.
  • Costa Brava Coastline (included). A local scenic tour along the picturesque coastline, with visits to the resorts of Tossa de Mar and Lloret de Mar.
  • Sant Hilari (optional). We head north to discover the mountain town of Sant Hilari. We first visit the local museum and also see the festive decorations in the church. Later, we enjoy a meal of local specialities, including Catalan sausage and wine.
  • Girona (included). We venture inland to the small town of Girona, with its pretty painted houses and quaint old-town area.
  • Paris River Seine Cruise and Evening Latin Quarter (optional). On arrival join a one hour cruise on the River Seine, then in the evening join our popular Latin Quarter optional excursion.
• Jan 2 – We travel north to our overnight hotel in central France. B
• Jan 3 – To the Paris area for an overnight stay. B
• Jan 4 – To Calais, then return home. B

11 Day Break by Air

This holiday is available by air departing Dec 23 and returning Jan 2. You will follow the same programme of optional and included excursions as detailed on the coach tour.

Flight Details

Flights to Barcelona or Girona are included from Birmingham, Bristol, Gatwick, Heathrow, Newcastle, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Luton, Doncaster, Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted. Included transfers from Barcelona Airport to your hotel will operate at 12:00hrs, 15:30hrs and  19:30hrs and on the return will arrive at Barcelona airport at 09:00hrs, 13:00hrs and 18:00hrs. Transfers to and from Girona Airport are also included and will operate regularly throughout the day. All prices are subject to availability. Flight supplements may apply. Accommodation

You’ll stay for ten nights at the 3-star Hotel Florida Park, close to the town centre, shops and beaches of Santa Susanna on the Costa del Maresme and popular with Leger guests, especially over the festive season, for many years.

There will be a programme of entertainment, with shows and activities such as fancy dress, flamenco, games and live music. All meals are buffet-style except for the Gala dinners on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, when dinner will be waiter service. The hotel has lifts, a large bar area, lounge, restaurant, sun terrace and indoor leisure complex with indoor swimming pool (daily charge).

All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone. Overnight stays in France (coach holiday only) will be in city-style hotels.
